From Idea to Impact

On August 23rd, 2025, Together She Rocks hosted its first professional development event at Broward College Library. Despite heavy rain and traffic, over 25 attendees joined us in person and virtually to learn from Tongtong Gong, co-founder and COO of AmberData.

Tongtong shared her journey from founding a data-infrastructure startup to scaling it to Series C, navigating investors, building teams, and surviving the rollercoaster of entrepreneurship. Her candid reflections on risk-taking, building systems, and balancing personal life with business growth left a strong impression on everyone in the room.

Participants also received our “From Idea to Something” Toolkit, designed to help translate inspiration into action for any personal or professional project. More than just a talk, this event empowered attendees to map out their own entrepreneurial journeys with practical steps and a supportive community behind them.
